WRECKS & DIVES AT THE UNDERWATER CENTRE

A unique collection of ex-army vehicles scattered around our site at depths ranging from 6 to 20 metres, including a Conqueror Tank, the chassis of a centurion and a Saladin armoured car.

At 10 metres an old wooden wreck where only the bows remain intact is home to a wide variety of sea life - a haven waiting for you to explore.

Lying in 18 metres of water, the BelleIsle lies intact and upright. Scuttled by her owner, she is stripped bare and is now home to all manner of sea life including small eels and colourful Sea Slugs

A classic 25 metre long fully intact tugboat lying in 20 metres of water. Home to a wide variety of sea life including a family of five Conger Eels.

An old 40 metre long fishing trawler lying on a sloping bottom between 45 and 55 metres. She is upright and fully intact with trawler wheels, engine room, bridge, masts, accommodation and propeller.

The deepest wreck on our site at 55 metres, the Snoopy is an old barge with many open compartments. Perfect for more advanced divers looking for a safe environment to explore at depth.

Drift dives in the Loch Eil Narrows can reach a breath taking 5-6 knots. Or take a rib ride down Loch Linnhe to Linnhe Point for a relaxing wall dive with plenty to see. Easy access by boat for both dives can be arranged from our private pier.

All divers must be qualified to PADI Openwater / BSAC Oceandiver / SAA Openwater / CMAS 1 Star or equivalent.
Instructors with students are welcome, please inform us when booking.
Cert. cards must be provided before diving can commence, and will be held & copied during your stay.
