Outdoor Capital of the UKThe Underwater Centre is situated in Fort William, nestled between Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK, and Loch Linnhe, one of the deepest lochs. Fort William is the 'Outdoor Capital of the UK' and you'll never be stuck for something to do in your spare time - with spectacular beaches, glens, mountains, forests, lochs and Ben Nevis and Glencoe, there's no better place to get into the outdoors. Walking, climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, rafting - you name it, you can do it all here. The area is an outdoor playground like no other.

And being situated on one of Scotland's most travelled tourist routes, The Underwater Centre is easy to reach.

 

 

BY ROAD

Fort William is a 2.5 hour drive north of Glasgow and 1 hour drive south of Inverness on the A82. The Underwater Centre is situated next to Lochaber College.

BY RAIL

BY PLANE

A number of low cost airlines operate routes directly into Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness airports from throughout the UK and Europe. Connections from these airports to Fort William can be made easily by car hire, bus or train.
