As a commercial diver you need to be effective in two areas. It is vital that you have the ability to dive safely, and it is equally crucial that you are capable once you reach the work site. After all, this is what you’ll be getting paid to do. During your commercial air course you will be given construction industry training. Your training will include using and maintaining hand tools, air tools, hydraulic tools; lifting techniques; survey techniques and basic rigging.

To receive a Certificate of Competency and a stamp in your logbook you’ll be assessed in the use of underwater tools over the period of your air diving course. This will enable you to demonstrate competence in their use to future employers, giving you a better chance of securing the job you want.
Tools Assessment is only available as part of the Premium Industry Career Package or the Construction Industry Career Package.
