Approximate Course Duration: 7 weeks
Ideal for candidates with, or without, electronics qualifications, the seven week course combines all of the skills and training contained in the three week ROV Pilot Technician Course along with extensive training in electronic circuit design, test and measurement, fault diagnosis and repair.
So, as well as the industry relevant flying experience and flight support skills you get on the three week course, you'll also gain the practical electronic skills you'll need to help keep your ROV in the water and working. The course contains a number of formal qualifications that are audited and approved by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA). This means that you can be sure that what you learn, and the qualifications you'll earn, at The Underwater Centre are recognised qualifications that will give any employer proof that you've got the kind of skills you'll need in the workplace.
